In the video clips making rounds on social media, some of the protesters (transgenders) were unwilling to reveal their identity, as they were seen covering their faces with masks. A group of LGBT (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) advocates took to the streets on Sunday, May 1, to protest over a proposed bill to prohibit and criminalize cross-dressing in Nigeria.
